Job Purpose and Impact The Oaklands Site Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the operations at the origination site, focusing on operational excellence across five fundamentals: risk management, plant efficiency, talent pool management, maintenance & reliability, and capital management.
In this role, you will provide operational oversight for all production operating facilities with a moderate presence in multiple regions or a moderate degree of complexity.
Key Accountabilities Execute routine operations of assigned area, ensuring direct reports follow policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety, and environmental compliance. Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications. Partner with production supervisors to meet customer specifications and timelines. Administer production budget for a department, process, or shift, execute purchase orders, and ensure timely payment of invoices. Develop operational plans and monitor routine operations for all production processes across multiple departments, processes, and shifts. Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to direct reports, including promoting company core values and guiding principles for assigned facilities or region. Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Experience in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels in the plant. Proven experience in production and warehouse management.
