The RoleAs an experienced Site Foreman, you will be responsible for the control and management of the actions of the workforce ensuring they follow protocol regarding project plans, schedules, quality standards, and safety. This role will see you collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to safeguard the successful conclusion of each project.
You are skilled in supervising and the delegation/direction of all staff on site and understand your responsibilities. Daily duties will include:
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.Conduct regular team meetings for project updates, address concerns, and promote values of safety.Supervise frequent safety assessments and implement remedial actions to reduce hazards and occurrences.Safeguard compliance with NSW safety regulators, including environmental and quality requirements.Excellent time management skills, setting priorities, and ensuring staff on site complete assigned tasks within timelines.Excellent database management skills, updating all scope of works, ensuring all records and all other projects paperwork and forms are filled in correctly and signed by clients accordingly for statutory reporting, along with coordinating and authorising staff timesheets weekly.Accountability for all equipment onsite, along with keeping work sites safe and clean, ensuring the team works to elite standards. EssentialBachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience as a Civil Construction Site Supervisor or similar role.In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes, techniques, and best practices.Strong leadership and management skills, with the talent to guide, mentor, and motivate.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.Proven organisation skills coupled with time management to prioritise tasks and ensure projects meet deadlines within budget.
