RoleHutchies is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Hobart team.
This fulltime, permanent role is your chance to contribute to our prestigious commercial construction projects.You will play a pivotal role in supervising Hutchies' employees and subcontractors, ensuring the project is delivered in line with our safety, quality, program and budget objectives.As a key member of the Hutchies team, you'll find yourself immersed in a supportive and collaborative work environment.
We pride ourselves on our down to earth culture and the close knit relationships we build internally and through our projects.The opportunities are diverse, providing you with unparalleled exposure to different projects and learning opportunities.We value hard work and dedication, and we're excited to have your skills in our team.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Site Manager or Managers, you will:Assist in coordinating, managing and supervising works on SiteUndertake considered planning of the works to ensure Safety, Quality, Program and Budget objectives are metWork as part of the Site supervision team and take responsibility for areas of work allocated to youReview and improve Work Method Statements and Methods of Work before the relevant work is carried outComplete any permits to work which may be required by our ClientsCommunicate and Consult with the workforce on all matters related to the projectProvide leadership, guidance and management to any Tradespersons or Leading Hands allocated to the projectOversee the delivery of the project to ensure it meets the requirements of the drawings and specificationsKeep accurate records of works carried out on siteManage the rectification of any defects identified in constructionNote the role will require weekend and after hours works, including night works.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:Relevant trade qualification and proven commercial construction experience in a site leadership roleAn ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independentlyExcellent written and spoken communication skillsAn exemplary approach to problem solving including flexibility, adaptability and general foresightAgency submissions won't be considered for this position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
