Site Supervisor

Join a highly regarded Tier 2 builder on what is a minimum 4-month contract role. Help drive and deliver a challenging refurb, fit out and amenities upgrade project in Canberra, ACT. Working in a live environment, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a significant government defence project. This role is critical in ensuring that the project meets its objectives within budget, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Supervisor/Site Manager with a head contractor Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations Excellent organizational and leadership skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both the client and sub-contractors Experience working in secure environments or projects with defence-related sensitivity is a plus Responsibilities: Lead and manage the site team, including subcontractors and tradespeople, to ensure efficient project execution Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and performance regularly Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and government policies Liaise with client to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that arise Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to design specifications Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness Additional Information: Competitive Hourly Pay Rate (ABN Pty Ltd or PAYG) Run project start to finish Tier 2 Builder #J-18808-Ljbffr
