You will be responsible for coordinating multiple tasks, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring a high level of service is provided at all times.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: Write building insurance assessment reports for insurance companiesEstimate for building re-instatement worksEngage, coordinate & manage trades during the restoration process for buildings damaged by insurable eventsCommunicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobsLiaise between insurance companies & insured partiesCoordinate access to properties with insured partiesDispute & issue resolution, as requiredEnsure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OHS requirementsEnsure all inspections & relevant documentation is signed offIn conjunction with Area Manager, continually assess & upgrade our catastrophe readiness in the areaKey Selection Criteria: Varied experience within the construction industryRelevant building trade qualification, preferably in carpentryInsurance building background (highly regarded, however not essential)Excellent communication & customer service skillsStrong work ethic & motivationAbility to manage multiple & competing prioritiesAbility to be empathetic to the needs of the clientStrong computer skillsBe well presentedFamiliarity with OHS practices, legislation & regulationsFamiliarity with current market rates & tradesCurrent motor vehicle licenseWe are a company of integrity and diversity.
