In Australia alone, we have a presence on over 49 mining operations and, due to continued growth and internal movement, we currently require two experienced OTR Site Supervisors for our FMG Eliwana operations in WA: THE POSITION The Supervisor roles will provide a high level of continuous service on site by supporting the operations of the workshop, office, stock and personnel, and will also ensure the contracted scope of work is performed and maintained to a high standard. Provide visible leadership by interacting and engaging with your team by maximising your time in the tyre bay where you will have more opportunity to coach and mentor team members. ROLE DETAILS: Based at Eliwana Roster based on 2:2 roster (7 days, 7 nights & 14 days R&R) 12 hr days Leading team of 2 tyre technicians Great tyre bay and facilities Liebherr T264 Primary Fleet DUTIES INCLUDED: Prioritising and directing personnel to perform tyre fitting and workshop maintenance tasks in the most efficient, safe and cost-effective manner Maintaining a safe and efficient workforce by providing constructive and positive feedback as well as provide initiatives for increased safety and performance Demonstrating a high level of supervision to ensure all safety systems are present Leading by example to ensure all personnel comply with site and company policies, procedures, instructions and Golden Rules Actively promoting a safety culture across site operations that targets zero harm to personnel and the environment ABOUT YOU Preferably a minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21919/ AUR21920 A valid HR Driving licence A current WorkSafe forklift licence Section 44; Advantageous Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures Possess a high level of maturity, initiative, and the ability to work well under pressure Ability to work autonomously WHAT WE OFFER $1000 signing-on bonus Competitive Salary Ongoing in-house training and development from our RTO – to the most recent industry standard Fortnightly averaged paid wages – (same consistent pay) Numerous financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits including salary sacrifice options, novated leasing, discounts and support programs A genuine, overriding commitment to Health & Safety Supportive work environment and career progression opportunities We are looking for candidates who will exhibit an unwavering commitment to Health & Safety, to utilise their OTR Tyre Fitting expertise in an environment that fosters progression and development.
