Job DescriptionOur Role: As a result of our continued growth and expansion, we have a new opportunity for a Site Superintendent who will oversee, coordinate and deliver site works to ensure successful project delivery.
You will understand power station construction as a whole and the interfaces of civil, mechanical and electrical sections to enable planning, scheduling and delivery of all works.
You will have a high level of mixed trade skills, project management skills, people management skills, be entirely self-motivated and possess a strong working knowledge of the relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities: Provide site leadership, prioritisation, direction and instruction for all power station construction processBe the site-based point of contact for clients and any other external stakeholdersLead the Electrical and Mechanical Supervisors to achieve the best outcomes.Generate site requirements look ahead and action early procurement/delivery of materials, plant and equipment to ensure efficient construction.Manage completion of site documentation such as site safety and quality reportingMonitor day-to-day resources, timing and activities to effectively manage the delivery of a projectEnsure teams evaluate hazards, control risks and undertake regular inspections of works and equipment.Manage Electrical and Mechanical teams to ensure accurate site records are maintained.About you: Significant experience in Power station constructionDemonstrated ability to successfully lead site-based teams to deliver power station projects in the range of $500k to $5millionDemonstrated people skills and ability to manage all trades and specialistsExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsADDITIONAL BENEFITS INCLUDE: Additional four days per annum of Personal Business LeaveOpportunity to apply for additional leave (Purchase Leave)Employee Discretionary Bonus ProgramSalary continuance insuranceRewards Gateway for our employeesEmployee Referral RewardWE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER At Pacific Energy, we celebrate the richness and depth that diversity brings.
