About the role:
We currently have a permanent full-time job to join our Site Services Delivery team in Sydney, supporting metro locations and travelling on occasion interstate.
Reporting to the Site Services Lead, you will proactively provide frequent onsite IT support to all divisions of Icon Group as well as remote support for Australia and New Zealand staff.
Key responsibilities: Frequently visiting onsite providing IT support using ITIL best practicesIdentifies and resolves issues with IT hardware & applications, following agreed proceduresCarry out agreed system maintenance tasksEnsures that incidents and requests are properly documented and resolvedInvestigates problems in systems and processes and implements workarounds and solutionsAssists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measuresActs as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for onsite supportResponds to a broad range of service requests for support by providing information to fulfil requests or enable resolutionProvides first line investigation and diagnosis and promptly allocates unresolved issues as appropriateContributes to the creation of support documentationInstalls or removes hardware and/or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools as part of BAU or project-related activitiesWorks cooperatively within a national team, exchanges information & knowledge, and assists other team members to achieve team objectives and work outcomesCollaborates with and escalates to, where necessary, other teams within IT and the broader business to ensure prompt resolution by the correct support personnel and communication with business stakeholdersAbout you:
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can effectively prioritise and support the onsite needs of the divisions of Icon Group.
You will have the ability to independently solve problems and support your team members when necessary.
Having the capability to take ownership of issues with a view to continuously improve is crucial in this role.
Mandatory requirements: Valid driving licence, roadworthy vehicle and willingness to travel onsiteTertiary computing-related qualification preferredCommercial IT qualifications e.g., short technical courses in particular systems, IT products, etc.Strong understanding of technical issue resolution workflow and systemsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAble to work autonomously and see jobs through to completion with minimal direct supervisionIf this sounds like you, APPLY NOW!
