Site Reliability Engineer

iO associates are partnered with an award winning Digital Transformation consultancy on their search for a Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in Java Software Development to start with them ASAP. You'll be responsible for the design & development of monitoring and alerting systems, managing environments, carrying out deployments, setting up security tools & analytics.
Start: ASAP - must be available to start by the end of February Location: Fully remote, but based in Perth, Australia Duration: 6 months - or could consider permanent for the right candidate Essential Skills & Experience Experience working in Cloud based Microservices environmentBackground in Java Software Engineering Setup CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment of the code to environmentProficient working with Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, JenkinsExperience integrating AWS security products to protect accounts and environmentsBe happy to collaborate with dev team to auto-scale the infrastructure to support more transactions per secondCreate high level documentation on strategic infrastructure, devops environments, monitoring & logging
architecture and runbooks.
