Duties: Development, review, and management of projects, including safety, quality, environment, cost control, and client/consultant relationships.Proactive site leadership, safety management, and risk assessment.Quality management and development of quality procedures according to project specifications and Australian Standards.Technical advice and problem-solving.Project cost control, labor utilization, and efficiency.Building effective relationships with clients and managing day-to-day interactions.Accurate preparation of monthly reports, progress claims, and sub-contractor statements.Procurement and management of sub-contractors and material suppliers.Administration of contracts and management of commercial risk.Skills and Experience: Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.Minimum 1+ years of experience in the civil/construction industry.Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: structural repair, blast and painting, remediation, corrosion protection, re-strengthening existing structures, steel & concrete repair, bridge maintenance, jacking, and bearing replacements.Strong project preparation and planning skills, particularly on complex and critical projects.Ability to thrive under pressure and make sound decisions.Proficiency in subcontractor and supplier management, as well as self-performance works management.Solution-focused mindset with experience in addressing on-site challenges and achieving positive outcomes promptly.Excellent communication skills – written & verbally.Join us in delivering world-class infrastructure projects and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence.
