This newly created role provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to be exposed to new Caterpillar equipment due to the expansion of CAT fleet in Mudgee.Reporting to the Mining Support Manager, the Site Performance Specialist plays a pivotal role in maximising our mining customers return on their fleet investments by providing technical support, advice on equipment optimisation and analysing fleet performance data to drive improvements in overall asset performance.This dynamic role offered is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday. A current Order 43 medical or ability to complete is an essential requirement for this position.The successful candidate will receive an attractive remuneration package inclusive of a generous location allowance and a fully maintained benefit vehicle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain key customer relationships with each allocated site.Utilise fleet performance data to proactively drive improvement in asset performance.Carry out wear management inspections.Regular report generation as required.Work with customers on resolution of unplanned downtime to ensure timely resolution.Monitor and review maintenance and operational practices and technology applications that impact machine performance and make recommendations.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Engineering or Mechanical Trade Certificate.Post-Trade experience working on Cat equipment would be highly regarded.Current Drivers License - C Class minimum.Skills and ExperienceAdvanced interpersonal skills with proven customer service and relationship management skills.Ability to troubleshoot equipment faults and recommend solutions.Ability to work successfully in a team and autonomously.Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.High level of initiative and problem-solving skills.Well-developed ability to analyse data and compile reports.Why WesTracAs one of the World's leading Caterpillar dealers, WesTrac services a broad range of customers across NSW, ACT & WA.
