ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a Site Manager (Remediation) to join our projects team.
You will be responsible for the delivery of site works on unique and exciting projects across the greater Canberra Region.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the following: Site supervision of plant, labour, and subcontractors.
Efficient planning and co-ordination of all site work.
Documenting / reviewing / maintaining paperwork including Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), licenses, and tickets.
Enforcing and demonstrating safe work practices in all site-related works.
Ensuring that personnel is adequately trained and supported.
Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with site operations.
Monitoring progress to meet budget and targets.
Willing to travel as required for regional projects.
Ensuring that OHS&E requirements are met.
ABOUT YOU You will be an experienced Site Manager who has a background in delivering environmental remediation projects.
You will have: 10+ years experience delivering Civil or Remediation projects.
Proven ability to undertake the role of Supervisor and manage sub-contractors.
Strong people management and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to take a hands-on approach on site.
Asbestos Supervisor ticket, advantageous but not essential.
Plant Operation tickets, advantageous but not essential.
Drivers licence.
Willing to travel as required for regional projects.
