With offices in the North of England, we specialise in the design, installation, project management, and consultancy of turnkey processing plants and bulk material handling systems. Our projects, ranging from 120k to 13 million, involve the installation of conveyor belts, bucket elevators, and air-slides for the movement of bulk materials such as cement dust and clay. We also construct steel gantries and transfer towers. With 4-5 live projects running at any given time across the UK, we maintain a dynamic work environment. Typical site hours are 07:30 to 17:30, and our main offices are located in the North of England. The Role: We are looking for a permanent Site Manager / Project Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will hold, at minimum, an SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess or have significant experience in the following: Management of lifting operations, with a Lifting Operations Certification (LOLER) or Appointed Person qualification. Preferable not essential. Reviewing and creating risk assessments and method statements for lifting operations. Hands-on experience with lifting plans on busy construction sites. Candidates with a background in steel erection, conveyor belt fitting, or experience managing projects for principal construction contractors will excel in this role. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the safe and timely delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Manage teams on-site and liaise with subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders. Develop and review lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements. Ensure high-quality construction work in line with company and client expectations. Project Locations: Current projects are based in London, Derby, Leeds, and Liverpool, with many more in different areas of the UK in the pipeline. Therefore, candidates must be willing to travel.
