About the roleBUILDON CONSTRUCTION is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects in Perth, Western Australia. As a contract role, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing construction company and play a pivotal part in the successful delivery of the development. The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating all on-site activities and ensuring the project is completed safely, on time and within budget, while also supporting administrative tasks.What you'll be doingEnsuring strict compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations on the construction site.Overseeing the work of subcontractors and trade teams to maintain high standards of workmanship.Managing site logistics, including the coordination of material deliveries, plant, and equipment.Monitoring progress against the project schedule and budget, and implementing corrective actions as required.Communicating project status to key stakeholders, including the client, design team, and project managers.Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.Providing leadership, training, and mentoring to the site team.What we're looking forSite Manager or Senior Site Supervisor in the construction industry, ideally within the commercial or residential sectors.Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically.Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management or engineering.What we offerBUILDON CONSTRUCTION is committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
