My client is an established, boutique Luxury Residential Apartment Builder that has successfully and consistently expanded its business over the years through repeat client work. A business can only manage to do this when they're delivering top quality work and providing an experience through the project lifecycle that has their clients convinced they wouldn't dare use a different builder. Not many organisations can pull that off. It takes a corporate culture where relationships are highly valued, collaboration is encouraged, and good communication is common practice. A place where the staff all feel appreciated for their hard work.Due to organic growth and recent, successful project awards, they require an experienced Site Manager for the delivery of their most recent high-end luxury residential project in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs which is about to commence.As the Site Manager you will be working with a proven project management team who already have a track record of successfully completing multiple projects together within the company.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be assisting the project team with contractual and programme requirements, construction in accordance with the specifications and project documentation and providing reviews to ensure trade scopes are inclusive of all project requirements and deliverables.Manage Quality Assurance throughout the delivery.Manage the timely delivery of works against the target programme.Provide Look-ahead / short-term programmes for the team and subcontractors.Hold Weekly Subcontractor meetings.Review & ensure the Scope of Works are inclusive of all works & requirements in conjunction with the Project Manager and administration team.Review issued project documentation, shop drawings and ensure they are correct, relevant and project specific with the assistance of the project team.Manage Sub-Contractors, their resource requirements and quality of work.Manage safe work on site, issue work permits and approvals on site in accordance with the WHS legislations & project specific SWMS with the assistance of the project team.Minimise defects thorough constant QA / ITP controls.Skills & Experience:Minimum 5 years experience in a Site Manager role on residential and/or commercial construction projects valued $10M - $40MRecent Class 2 experience is advantageous.Previous employment with a reputable Construction Company.Proven track record delivering projects from start to finish.Good career tenure showing loyalty, resilience and reliability.Relevant industry qualifications.Experience managing program requirements, weekly look-a-heads, Quality Control (ITP's) and sub-contractors.Safety-first attitude.Passionate about Quality & an eye for details.A good team playerWhat you get:To work at a company that holds their workplace culture and project team experience above all else and understands that 'its people are the business'.Rostered SaturdaysTo work with a company with proven systems and process.The full support of a proactive Senior Management team.A generous salary package paid according with your skills & experience.To manage, train & mentor upcoming team membersTo work with highly professional clients on some of the most prestigious properties in Sydney.Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a site manager?Do you have experience working on residential construction projects?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
