Site Manager

Opportunity
Well-known Sydney builder requires an immediate contract site manager for a challenging $2.5M extension and refurb project near Wellington (Central West NSW).
With the backing of an experienced Senior PM and hard-working Contracts Administrator, you will lead a dedicated team of tradesmen and subcontractors from planning through to successful completion.
With handover currently set for May 2025, this is a great opportunity for a professional contractor to step into a 6-month guaranteed role and make their mark.

Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations Excellent leadership and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in educational projects, highly desirable Comfortable and confident in both structures and fit out Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of the entire build, ensuring it is executed within budget, timeline, and to the client's specifications Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
