Your new roleAs the Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the following:
Programming: Review and provide feedback on the subcontractor program. Develop detailed fortnightly programs to ensure task completion.HSEQ: Set up the site as per company HSEQ policies, ensuring all Project Management Plan details are actioned. Daily review of HSEQ on site and oversee subcontractor practices. Conduct Site Safety audits and develop the Project Management Plan with the Project Manager.Subcontractor Management & Coordination: Regularly consult with subcontractors, providing at least 2 weeks' notice for start dates. Ensure efficient site access and work areas. Review documentation to confirm work aligns with consultant details.Quality & Defect Management: Regularly review subcontractor work, advise on defects, and provide rectification timeframes. Ensure completed works are protected. Delegate initial defect reviews to subcontractors.Site Cleanliness & Appearance: Ensure trades clean up daily and dispose of rubbish. Track cleaning by labour and advise the Project Manager of allocated hours for potential back charges. Coordinate storage zones for subcontractors to maintain site tidiness.Scope of Works: Understand all contractors' scopes of work developed by the Project Manager and/or Procurement Team.Site Meetings: Attend site meetings and provide updates on the program and general site issues.Subcontractor Meetings: Attend subcontractor meetings with the Project Manager to ensure coordination and communication of key program and HSEQ information.Client/Consultant Relationships: Regularly liaise with clients/consultants, providing updates as agreed with the Project Manager. Ensure all communication is professional and respectful.What You'll Need To Succeed Broad understanding of construction practices, methods, and techniques.Management of essential personnel.Proficient in managing time effectively.Comprehensive knowledge of HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) regulations.At least 5 years of on-site construction experience.Strong computer skills.Capability to lead a team and foster relationships among all stakeholders.Skills in resolving disputes.What You Need To Do NowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or reach out to Bec Middlin directly on or .
