Site Manager

Reitsma Constructions, a well-established commercial building company located in Sydney, is seeking a Site Manager to work on our commercial construction projects. The current project is located on the north side of Sydney. Our ideal candidate would be well experienced in managing building projects, preferably in the commercial sector. The position will require good communication skills.The projects will generally be between 1-20 million dollars, with the occasional larger projects. Our projects include education, churches, aged care, general commercial & industrial, heritage, interiors, and automotive.Applicants will be expected to demonstrate that they can undertake the following on the day-to-day running of the site:Managing site safetyManage the day-to-day construction works on site.Have a hands-on approach when it comes to resolving problems.Supervising and managing on-site performance of labour/contractors and suppliers (Quality, time, and safety).Weekly programming of works and allocation of labour.Order and schedule deliveries.Coding and approvals of invoices.Management of site documentation (Drawings / Specification etc.).Train and mentor junior site staff.Maintain ongoing site security.Liaise directly with head office regarding day-to-day construction matters.The use of the following software is ideal, but not mandatory:Microsoft Project.Google Workspace.Reitsma Constructions | BUILT ON REPUTATIONClick on Apply Now to submit your resume.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a site manager?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have in the construction industry?
