This role has opened due to an increase in project load throughout the year and going into 2025.This client is long-standing in the QLD construction industry known for their work delivering complex Commercial and Industrial projects with average values ranging from $20m - $70m.Their commitment to flexibility, diversity and career development is shown through their average tenure with many great examples of employees working their way through the ranks into higher-level positions.The initial project will be an Education Build in central Brisbane valued at around $30m+.As a leader, you will manage the site team and trade partners while collaborating with the CA and Project Manager on builds.Key responsibilities include:Program managementClient and stakeholder liaisonEnsuring high-quality service deliveryMeeting project timelinesMitigating risks with solutions-focused strategiesReporting on health and safety, quality, cost control, and budget performanceSubcontractor managementAdherence to construction policies and codesAchieving project KPIsCoaching your teamFacilitating toolbox and site meetingsDriving on-time, on-budget deliveryRequirements:5 - 10+ years experience working as a Site Manager for a Main Contractor Builder or Developer (Required)Exposure managing Commercial Construction Projects from $20m+ (Preferably with experience delivering projects for the Department of Education)Understanding of construction processes, materials, and best practicesLeadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced settingsAbout Brunel:Brunel is a recruitment and flexible workforce solution provider which connects talented people with opportunities throughout Australasia and around the world.
