Design and Build Recruitment is looking for an experienced Site Manager or Site Supervisor ready to take the step up, with a passion for overseeing mid Rise Residential new build projects. The ideal candidate will have recently completed similar builds worth $40M+. As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our clients' high rise residential build projects in Sydney.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the build. Take charge and own your project.
Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Work closely with the Project Manager and Contracts Administrator.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor project progress, identify, and resolve any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Manage and optimise resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials, to achieve project goals efficiently.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site records, project look-a-heads, and safety records.
Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on major Residential new build projects $20M+
Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and best practices in industrial builds.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Sound understanding and commitment to safety regulations and procedures.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
