THE COMPANY
With over 45 years of experience in the VIC construction space, this company builds a variety of commercial projects up to $20 million. They pride themselves on repeat business through the delivery of top-quality builds and focus on their core values of safety, quality, and value for money. They have projects secured through the end of 2024, including numerous education, medical, community, industrial, and fuel station projects. As such, they are looking to expand their current team to meet these demands. This company has multiple projects across Metro Melbourne, so they're looking for Site Managers in various locations.
THE ROLE
As a Site Manager for this company, you will be reporting directly to a Project Manager and will have the support of a dedicated on-site team, including a Leading Hand, subcontractors, and labor. Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage single projects from start to completion (14-18 month build times).Ensure Occupational Health and Safety is adhered to.Liaise with internal staff (Project Manager, PC, and Construction Manager).Keep to the expected quality standards within the agreed time frames.Manage the site coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
If you have had experience site managing commercial projects up to $5 million over the past 3 years and thrive in a challenging environment, this role could be suited to you. Requirements include:
History of delivering projects start to finish between $5-15 million that includes a variety of projects in the commercial space.A carpentry background is a must!2-5 years in a Site Management position preferred.Excellent attention to detail, diligence, and willingness to learn.Be someone that identifies problems before they become a problem.Strong communication skills will be vital as the client's go-to on-site.BENEFITS
