With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Building and Construction Services team to work on our various projects based in SA. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be reviewing, initiating and managing the project and employees, ensuring successful project delivery.This is a multi-disciplined role requiring experience in civil construction, demolition and building services.
Work Type: Full – TimeAbout the role:The role will include, but is not limited to:
Leading and managing internal and external contractorsPreparing RFI, Notices of Delay, variations and EOT submissionsProviding weekly reports to customers and project managerEnsuring compliance with customers and company safety, quality and business processes.Writing and reviewing JSA's and risk assessmentsReading, interpreting and communicating plans effectively to stakeholdersEnsuring compliance with contract terms and conditions for the projectBuilding positive relationships with internal & external stakeholders such as customers, project team, management, suppliers and subcontractorsManaging cost control, reporting, procurement and contract managementAbout you:To be successful in this role, you will need:
Minimum 5+ yearsexperience in a site manager position working on 10 Mil + projectsExcellent time management and people management skillsHigh attention to detail and safety-focused approach to workCertificate III in Carpentry or relevant trade experienceProblem-solving and innovation skills as an individual and as a team playerConstruction White Card and Current driver's licenseExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong commitment to Work Health & Safety and Environmental standardsProficiency using Microsoft Office ApplicationsAbility to obtain DCSI and Australian Defence Security ClearanceSenior first aid trainingAbility to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for work assessmentExperience using Procore and Pronto or similar related Project Management & ERP programs (Desirable).Ability to occasionally travel within South Australia to our regional construction sites.
