Multi-resi builder / developer Autonomy to run the site Some exposure to CA work will be highly regarded Our client is seeking an experienced Foreman to join their team in Sydney.This site-based role will focus on overseeing the construction of a multi-residential site located in Sydney.Reporting directly to the Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project end-to-end and future projects in the pipeline.Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.Hands-on involvement in carpentry work while supervising a team of sub-contractors.Collaborate closely with Developer to resolve design issues during construction phases.Oversea contracts and advise on cost saving improvements.Core Skill Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role within carpentry or construction.Experience on multi-residential projects.Proficiency in class 2 construction.Ability to resolve construction details effectively.Experience with doors, locks, windows, metalworks, and finishing trades.Understanding of basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical services.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors.Dedication to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.Well-presented with excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to learning and teaching.Fluency in English and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Own vehicle, valid driver's license, white card, and Australian work rights.What you'll need to succeed 5-Years experience in class 2.General Knowledge of the Australian Standards and Building Code of Australia.Experience working in residential, commercial build or structural refurbishment projects.Demonstrated leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to build successful teams and maintain strong relationships.Trade and/or safety qualifications.Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to problem solve.Knowledge of Procore and MS Project would be handy but not essential.Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of running site-based teams, liaising with the client and managing subcontractors.Benefits Pathway to grow your career within Construction.Autonomy to run the site as you see fit.Active developer with Pipeline of work.Flat management structure - get decisions made fact.All applications will be held in the strictest of confidence.Only those with the right to work in Australia need apply.Not looking for yourself but you know someone right for the role?Refer a friend and receive a referral fee - ask me how.
