ABOUT THE ROLE The Site Foreman/2IC will be co-responsible for the onsite management of a project, including managing sub-contractors, carpenters, and laborers. The role requires a person who is self-motivated, extremely capable, adaptable, and innovative, and has experience leading and managing people.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS Managing trades as directed by the Site Supervisor Coordinating and liaising with subcontractors Developing relationships with clients Coordinating Site OH&S, QA, and Environmental requirements Opening and closing sites if required QUALIFICATIONS Suitable applicants must have: At least five years experience in the Australian construction industry Demonstrated commercial foreman and construction experience Carpentry background preferred Sound knowledge of building products, processes, and trades Excellent communication and analytical skills Procore and Hammertech knowledge a bonus Ability to work autonomously and within a team REMUNERATION Merkon will pay the successful candidate an attractive package, to be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
