About the role: Permanent role - 9 Day Fortnight - This role will require you to work every second Saturday. Join our energetic team at Summerland Farm as a Site Events Lead! We're looking for an experienced professional to coordinate and deliver exceptional events, programs, workshops, and tours that create positive customer experiences and drive sales growth. In this role, you'll support our Hospitality and Tourism team by promoting Summerland Farm's offerings through effective marketing strategies and social media engagement. Your expertise will help enhance operational activities, ensuring our services and products are delivered seamlessly. You'll build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the community, promoting our values and fostering collaboration within our team. Additionally, you'll play a key role in developing new products and events, diversifying our offerings and attracting more visitors. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver Site events, programs, workshops and tours. Generate positive customer experiences, growing customers and sales. Support the Hospitality and Tourism team to increase customer numbers through effective promotions of Summerland Farm products and services, events and farm attractions through effective use of social media. Deliver services and products through effective operational activities. Provide excellent customer service to promote Summerland Farm services and build positive relationships with external customers, suppliers and the broader community. Coordinate to grow and diversify Summerland Farm events on offer through new products, services and events. Facilitate cooperation and collaboration to foster team relationships with the broader Summerland Farm team, reflecting our values and producing effective team results. Provide administrative support that ensures site events and operational requirements are met. Benefits of working with Aruma! About You: Cert IV in Events Management; or equivalent knowledge and experience (planning and coordinating events, workshops or tours). Experience with planning and coordinating workshops or tours. Experience in business development, through events and promotions. Demonstrates respect towards people with a disability. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment with ability to work under pressure. Excellent customer service. Effective verbal and written communication. Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise work. Work autonomously and as part of a diverse team. A commitment to the Summerland Farm and Aruma's Code of Conduct. Sound and proficient computer skills. A practical understanding of WHS requirements. A current Australian driver's license. RSA certificate.
