Job DescriptionAbout the Role: We are recruiting for a Structural Steel Site Engineer on behalf of a well-established structural steel business located across Australia. The successful candidate will oversee the installation and erection of structural steel on site, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the steel installation process on site.Work with project managers and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance.Review steelwork drawings, materials, and method statements.Conduct site inspections and quality checks.Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.Support junior engineers and provide technical guidance.Requirements: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).Experience in structural steel site engineering.Strong knowledge of steelwork installation and quality control.Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.Why Join Us?
