We currently have opportunities for Site Engineers to join our team.
These positions will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities.
We are seeking candidates with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance to be part of our team on the redevelopment project, covering the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and the RAAF Base Wagga.
The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below: Assist the Project Engineer (PE) / Project Manager (PM) in the preconstruction, construction, and post construction stages of projects. Provide engineering expertise in the design, fabrication and construction of the project to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with clients' expectations and safety, quality, time and cost objectives. Manage the contracting operations for various allocated projects against agreed objectives. Undertake scoping investigations for scopes of work. Preparation and compilation of site documentation prior to the commencement of works. Coordination and supervision of work activities of multiple crews over various work locations through the Riverina region. Monitor and control expenditure on jobs to ensure the cost-effective completion of projects. Review HOTO documentation, e.g.
Interpretation and application of drawings, ITP's and images recorded for each project. What you'll bring: Australian Citizenship and ability to hold or able to obtain a Government Security Clearance (must have). Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree, or similar. Graduate Member of Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAust) or Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ). Previous experience as a site engineer or graduate engineer in a related industry sector. Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel). Demonstrated ability to work productively in a team environment. More than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit and our clients.
