About Abergeldie Abergeldie is an Australian-owned contractor with over 30 years of industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy, and Remediation industry sectors.
Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works, and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
About the OpportunityWe're on the lookout for a Site Engineer to join our Sydney team!
You'll play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects that make a real difference to communities. Working closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and site teams, you'll help ensure our projects run like clockwork - on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll:
Assist with site planning, daily programming, and resource coordination.Manage site documentation, including drawings, reports, and registers.Oversee procurement processes and track material deliveries.Support the implementation of ITPs, SWMS, and safety protocols.Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance.Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) compliance.What You'll Bring to the TeamTo succeed in this role, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.2+ years of construction experience, ideally in civil infrastructure.Strong organisational and communication skills.The ability to interpret engineering drawings and manage site documentation.A proactive approach to problem-solving and HSEQ requirements.A Construction Induction (White Card) and a valid Australian driver's license.Why You Should Work with UsOur people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we make sure this is a place where great people enjoy working for the long term.
