About the Project:
Acciona Construction Australia has partnered with Georgiou Group to deliver the first stage of the Gold Coast's largest road infrastructure project. The project will involve construction of six new bridge structures in an environment with unique geotechnical conditions and challenging interfacing on a gazetted green-field site. You will have the opportunity to take on a varied and exciting role delivering the first stage of an important region-shaping project.
About the Opportunity:
As part of the project team, you will be reporting to the Project Engineer and supported by the Senior Project Engineer. You will assist with the planning, execution, and closing of the project by providing technical, administrative, HSEQS support to the project team. A key requirement is to accurately report on how your project is running (cost, time, scope & quality) at all times requiring you to know and understand your daily costs and scope of works.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure the project is delivered to overall program, cost, and time with necessary resources leading to high client satisfactionMaintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, and environmental standardsParticipate in client/contractor meetings as requiredFinancial assistance with cost tracking and invoicing of subcontractors on different packages of workReport to project/senior project engineers but gain leadership exposure with grads/undergradsSkills We Are Looking For: Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering2-3 years experience working in civil constructionWorking knowledge of relevant legislation/standardsIf you feel like you meet some or all of the above criteria and are interested in joining a global company making a positive impact, Apply now!
