The ROLE
As a Site Engineer, you will work as part of a team to ensure that each project is managed in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will actively assist in the successful delivery of projects. Your primary duties will include:
Identifying and mitigating project risks and maximizing project opportunities
Supervising onsite project activities, including the management of resources and subcontractors
Assessing optimal workloads and managing staff resource requirements
Assistance with the administration of quality assurance tasks
About YOU
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering
Minimum of one year's experience in Civil Construction supporting the delivery of civil projects safely, on time, within budget, and meeting quality specifications - ideally on site-based construct projects
Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with your team including crew, contractors, and clients
A good attitude, think well on your feet, reliable and work well in a team
Numeracy and computer literacy and a basic understanding of contract administration, procurement, and subcontracting principles
Driver's license
Familiarity with TMR specifications and experience in the administration of quality assurance on TMR projects will be highly regarded.
