Develop your experience in Civil Engineering on a large-scale infrastructure project in Darwin Your new company Our client, a leading Contractor specialised in Civil construction , is recruiting a talented Civil Site Engineer to work on a large-scale infrastructure project in the Darwin area. The project involves excavation, bulk earthworks, concreting and surfacing works. Your new role As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of the project to ensure it meets the required standards, is delivered on time and to budget while satisfying the needs of the client and company. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Darwin. Your key responsibilities will be: Develop, monitor, and report on project schedules and activities. Assist the project management team in developing project planning and cost management. Implement quality control techniques and the Project Quality Management plan. Contract management and procurement of subcontractors, suppliers, and plant hires. Perform site inspections and produce progress reports. Management of all project documentation including QA documents and correspondence. Implement HSEQ requirements and controls in the workplace. Liaison with the clients to represent the company in a positive and professional manner and protect its contractor position throughout the project. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience working on Civil projects: Bulk earthworks, Road Construction and/or Subdivision development. Knowledge of Australian standards and regulation for road and infrastructure construction and maintenance. A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret contract documents and project drawings. Experience with implementation of management systems on a project. Experience with subcontract management. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent oral, written communication and analytical skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
