What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced and energetic Site Engineer to join our growing program of works within the SA Utilities sector.
You will be joining an experienced and focused delivery team on a long-term program of works, comprising of earthworks, treatment plants, pipelines, pumpstations, and concrete structures with mechanical and electrical interfaces.
In this role you'll be responsible for: Reporting to the Project Engineer managing a diverse range of activities such as earthworks, services, FRP, building works and other site activities Complete take-offs and prepare tender scope of works Prepare RFQ Packages and coordinate site visits with Sub-contractors Lead on the preparation of preliminary construction and material schedules Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the ITP and closed-out to specified requirements Identify potential claims (variations/EOT) and prepare for submission to Client.
How you'll connect to the role: A degree level qualification in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Structural) Demonstrated previous experience in Site Engineering, working on construction projects in water infrastructure or utilities (preferred but not essential) Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions A solid performer, with professional acumen and exceptional communication skills Alignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & Leadership Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely Culture.
