The ProjectThe Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defense capability for the next 30 years.

The proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate a variety of elements including:
Construction of new messing and living in accommodationConstruction of new training facilitiesRefurbishment and upgrading of existing buildingsRemedial works and upgrades to infrastructure servicesYour opportunityWe are looking for experienced Site Engineers to join the project team. You will monitor the project plan and record progress against the program, resolve engineering issues, manage the administration of subcontractors, ensure technical matters with the project are compliant and drive a zero harm safety culture on site. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Contribute to a safe work culture and ensure works are delivered to legislative and project standardsReview and understand construction drawings, specifications and method statementsLiaise, communicate and plan with the foreman, and Subcontractors on a daily basis to achieve target outcomesEnsure project delivery is compliant with project standardsEnsure on site works are delivered to quality standards and complete all relevant documentationParticipate in and maintain cost management of daily activitiesPrepare documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliersEnsure allocated work packages and resources are managed to ensure costs are within or below budget, and contribute to the achievement of project targetsTo be successful in this role you must have:Tertiary qualification in Engineering1-2 years experience in a similar roleExcellent subcontractor managementGood written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally
