Site Engineer - Coffs Harbour Bypass

Job Description:The Coffs Harbour Bypass is a 14-kilometre stretch of road that will bypass of the Coffs Harbour urban area, from England's Road in the South to Sapphire in the North and is a once-in-a-generation project for the Mid-North Coast community.As work is increasing, we have now a vacant position for a Site Engineer to join our team.Responsibilities:Minimise construction risks by identifying control requirements and apply to scope of works.Assist with the procurement of project materials and letting of subcontracts.Oversee site construction works ensuring quality progress on a daily basis.Liaise with site supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers to guarantee compliance with the program.Coordinate any interface works with other teams - e.g. Traffic, Pavements and structural works to ensure smooth interfaces.Manage costs associated with scope of work, including tracking costs accurately and maintaining cost forecast.Assist in the preparation of Work Procedures, Inspection & Test Plans, Safe Work Method Statements, Construction Procedures and Site Access Plans.Oversee aspects of Safety, Environmental and Quality across the scope of works.Required Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor of Engineering, major in Civil and/or Structural.Ability to interpret designs for construction implementation.Experience with cost tracking and providing input into work programs and performance of teams and subcontractors.Proven verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and ability to develop and maintain diverse stakeholder relationships.Proactive and innovative approach.#J-18808-Ljbffr
