Site Engineer (Civil)

The tasks/responsibilities of the position include:
Manage and liaise with Clients, Trades, Suppliers and other Stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.Estimate quantities and procurement of materials and labour during each phase of construction to ensure timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables.Undertake regular site inspections to identify compliance and material issues and prepare defect reporting according to architectural and Engineering principles.Ensure quality and adherence to relevant BCA codes and design specifications.Identify potential design issues and collaborate on changes, assessing effects on costs and timeliness.Monitor changes to designs, assess effects on cost, and measure, value and negotiate variations to designs.Identify hazards and contribute to the development of Safe System of Works.Complete Quality Check Sheets and produce information for Handover Documentation.Maintain accurate records such as daily diary, photographs, and records of site discussions.
