Alongside other members of the project team, you will participate in:The procurement of the building services subcontracts and trade worksThe planning, scheduling, and day to day coordination and management of the building services subcontractorsThe budget management and cost control of the building services subcontractsIndependently of other members of the project team, you will be responsible for:Managing technical submissions of the Building Services subcontractors including shop drawings, plant and equipment specifications and cut sheetsIssuing drawings, technical specifications, and other requirements to the building services subcontractorsCompiling, reviewing, and submitting building services operation and maintenance manuals to the design consultants and clientManaging the design query or request for information (RFI) process between the subcontractors and design consultantsCommunicating the impact of planned service interruptions to the client in advance of any planned services interruptionWorking with the building services subcontractors to develop suitable construction methodologies when working in existing operational facilities to ensure the risk of unplanned service interruptions is minimisedEnsuring the building services installations comply with the technical requirements of the drawings and specificationsCoordinating the commissioning, defect rectification and handover processRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:Tertiary qualifications in a building services discipline, preferably mechanical or electrical engineeringA minimum 2 years graduate experience as a building services professional in the building, construction, industrial or civil infrastructure industriesIn the absence of tertiary qualifications, a trade qualification in a relevant discipline and 5 years tradesperson experienceA demonstrated ability to solve complex problems while working within a large teamA demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders#J-18808-Ljbffr
