Site Engineer – Brisbane, Australia Silverstrand is seeking a Site Engineer to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Brisbane to Gold Coast sites and employed on a permanent basis.
About the role Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Engineer is responsible for:
Ensuring that the project works are completed safely and in line with Silverstrand's and client's procedures Engineering drawings/specifications, budgets, and timeframes Ensuring compliance with Safety & site Environmental requirements Procurement of plant and materials Provision of technical advice to stakeholders and clients Provide engineering and technical advice to the project team Daily record keeping and input of daily data onto MS spreadsheets Essential Skills and Experience Civil Engineering Degree or similar 1+ years' experience in an engineering capacity on civil infrastructure projects Experience with concrete construction and drainage works including pre-pour inspections Experience with setting out works and height control using a total station Placement and control of concrete orders Thorough knowledge of Aus codes and standards Strong communication and people skills Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications A good understanding of the Microsoft suite, in particular Excel and Word Experience in coordinating resources on site and programming of works What's on offer Competitive salary based on the successful candidate's experience A permanent position with a growing civil construction company A site-based position to further develop your skills as a Civil Engineer and no two days will be the same Career progression opportunities Sponsorship is available for the right candidate About Us Silverstrand is a privately owned and operated contractor operating across Australasia since 2008, providing quality delivery in all areas of both civil and structural construction works in metro, regional, and remote areas.
