Site Engineer – Brisbane, Australia Silverstrand is seeking aSite Engineerto become akey part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.You will be based in our Brisbane to Gold Coast sites and employed on a permanent basis.About the role Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Engineer is responsible for:
Ensuring that the project works are completed safely and in line with Silverstrand's and client's proceduresEngineering drawings/ specifications, budgets, and timeframesEnsuring compliance with Safety & site Environmental requirementsProcurement of plant and materialsProvision of technical advice to stakeholders and clientsProvide engineering and technical advice to the project teamDaily record keeping and input of daily data onto MS spreadsheetsEssential Skills and Experience Civil Engineering Degree or similar1+ years' experiencein an engineering capacity on civil infrastructure projectsExperience with concrete construction and drainage works including pre-pour inspectionsExperience with setting out works and height control using a total stationPlacement and control of concrete ordersThorough knowledge of Aus codes and standardsStrong Communication and peopleSkillsAbility to read and understand drawings and specificationsA good understanding of the Microsoft suit, in particular Excel and WordExperience in coordinating resources on site and programming of worksWhat's on offer Competitive salary based on the successful candidate's experienceA permanent position with a growing civil construction companyA site-based position to further develop your skills as a Civil Engineer and no two days will be the sameCareer progression opportunitiesSponsorship is available for the right candidateAbout Us Silverstrand is a privately ownedand operated contractor operating across Australasia since 2008, providing quality delivery in all areas of both civil and structural construction works in metro, regional and remote areas.
