What will you be doing? Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, as part of a site maintenance team you will be responsible for diagno sing , repair ing and rectif ying faults, as well as co mplet i ng planned preventative maintenance and condition - based proactive maintenance . This includes ; Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation work across al l Water Recycling Bioresources assets on site .
Your role will support operational teams and enable the safe operation of Bioresources and Water Recycling asset s . This is crucial to our mi ssion of protect ing the environment we serve through wastewater treatment and producing renewable energy and high-quality bioresource products , which support C ircular E conomy , S ustainability , and Net Zero goals .
What does it take to be a Bioresources Maintenance Technician? - Possess either an industrial electrical or mechanical apprenticeship
- NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent (electrical or engineering maintenance) as well as one of the below:
- ONC/OND in electrical engineering
- BTEC/BEC/ TEC /national certificate/ diploma in an electrical subject
- City and Guilds Parts 1 &2 in electrical engineering or equivalent
- E xperience in an industrial environment is desirable not essential, along with a good working knowledge of industrial mechanical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes, general mechanical plant and equipment.
- Full UK driving license
