Altrad's multidisciplinary services range from engineering and technical services to maintenance, access solutions and specialised services for industry leaders.About the RoleThe Project Administrator role is essential for the successful execution of a major remediation project based in Geraldton.
This position is specifically open to local residents of Geraldton, emphasizing the company's commitment to the community and its development.The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience in project administration, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Working closely with the Project Manager and the project team, the Administrator will help drive the project forward while ensuring compliance with company values and operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process daily supervisor timesheets, log them into a central location, and communicate with Payroll.Review Payroll to ensure accuracy against timesheets.Receive client Purchase Orders and create new job codes associated with each PO.Track actual vs. budgeted costs for each job regularly to maximize recovery and prevent overruns.Assist in resolving disputes as they arise.Generate invoices once claims are approved, ensuring timely communication with clients.Management of hire equipment.Ability to multitask, working on a number of projects simultaneously and to agreed deadlines.Excellent communication skills, including experience of communicating effectively across cultures and within diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.Ability to work independently with minimal support, as well as in a team.Excellent organisational skills.Maintain relevant project data in various systems pertaining to capacity, new opportunities and general project records.Oversee the upkeep of project documents to ensure they're fit for use.Assist with creation of new project documents.Ensure meetings are conducted smoothly – from developing clear agendas, to recording and publishing minutes allocating actions.Providing responses to ad hoc requests for information on projects.Coordinating the team's input to project forecasting (revenue and costs).Assisting with time management and expenses against projects.Acting as the link between the Project Management team and Finance team when required.Qualification and ExperienceAt least 2-3 years of experience in project administration or a similar support role, ideally within a project-based environment.Strong skills in project management and financial software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, ERP systems) for tracking costs and processing invoices.Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy in timesheet processing and financial reporting, with a focus on quality and compliance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.Why you should work for AltradWe provide the benefits you'd expect from a global company, but what makes us different?Our Opportunities: Embark on a thrilling journey with us, tackling diverse and exciting challenges on some of the world's most prominent resources, energy, and infrastructure projects.Our Vibrant Culture: Immerse yourself in a dynamic atmosphere where problem-solving is a way of life.
