As a critical component of the nation's transition to a low-carbon future, Snowy 2.0 will provide essential on-demand energy and significant storage capacity for generations to come.The LocationThis role is based in Snowy Hydro's 2.0 Project Office in Cooma, working on a 5:2 roster. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the project site as needed.The RoleAs a Site Administrator, you'll provide essential coordination and administrative support to the Snowy 2.0 project team on-site. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of the site, supporting the project team with a range of administrative tasks, including onboarding, rostering, purchasing, fleet management, accommodation coordination, and office administration.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily site office operations, providing general administrative support and handling ad hoc tasks for senior project leaders and the wider team.Coordinate travel arrangements in line with Snowy Hydro policies and procedures.Attend meetings, take minutes, and ensure confidentiality of all discussions.Manage office supplies and consumables, such as coffee, tea, and hygiene products.Liaise with Future Generation JV representatives on site access, accommodation, office facilities, vehicle fuel, and training matters.Handle purchasing for site activities, following Snowy Hydro's procurement processes.Support the team with accommodation bookings.Ensure accurate and timely roster planning, maintaining an up-to-date schedule for the team.Coordinate weekly DIDO/FIFO travel logistics and additional travel needs.Manage on-site light vehicle allocation, collaborating with SHL's fleet management team when necessary.Assist with contractor onboarding and ensure project-specific inductions are completed.What You'll Bring to the Team:Proven experience in a similar administrative role, particularly in a project office environment.Proficiency in software applications such as Google Suite, MS Office, Aconex (or similar document management systems), and Learning Management Systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.Highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise and complete tasks within deadlines.A solid understanding of project-specific safety and environmental policies, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.A valid Class C driver's license is required.The TeamAt Snowy 2.0, we embrace the principle of "One Team Working Together."
