Site Accountant

We are seeking a commercially astute and driven Site Accountant to join our team at Dandenong. In this full-time, Monday to Friday position based at our Dandenong site, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our growing facility. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and collaborate closely with the Dandenong Operations Manager and broader leadership team at Dandenong.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee financial accounting, forecasting, and reporting for the Dandenong site.Provide reporting to key stakeholders to support effective decision-making.Own and manage site-based capital requests, including forecasting for capital projects.Drive continuous improvement in systems and procedures around accounting and reporting, including direct material (ODM) tracking and cost per unit analysis.Support the Finance Manager in ad-hoc Cans divisional reporting and projects.Manage statutory reporting, budgeting, and strategic analysis.Lead commercial analysis and integration.About YouTertiary degree in Accountancy, Commerce, or Business Administration.Advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.At least 7 to 10 years of experience in financial or management accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.Excellent financial accounting and systems skills (SAP & QAD preferred).Strong ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with meticulous attention to detail.A proactive, solution-focused approach with the initiative to challenge the status quo.Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.What we offer youCompetitive Salary, Rewards and Recognition Program and Extended Paternity LeaveHealth & Wellness Benefits: Access discounted health insurance and gym memberships, and wellness programs.Beverages Discounts: With Asahi and One Cellar.Career Growth & Development: Unlock your career potential with access to learning resources and opportunities for progression within a global, innovative company.Comprehensive Training & Onboarding: We ensure your success with hands-on training and support.How to ApplyTake the Next Step in Your Career – Apply Now!
