HammondCare is an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia care, palliative care, rehabilitation, specialist mental health for older people, and other health and aged services.

Job Description We are looking for someone who loves music and engaging with elderly residents to join as a Volunteer lead singer for a sing-along group. The main purpose of the role is to help people living with dementia to reminisce.

Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements • 18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
