Identifying patterns/triggers and understanding the importance of this information to support participants in maintaining their support requirements.Empowering participants to make their own choices, to be involved in their day, to be active, and grow their independence.Advocating and creating meaningful professional relationships with participants, their families, and stakeholders.Managing support staff in collaboration with leadership to implement professional development processes in alignment with the NDIS Code of Conduct.What we need that is extra but essential:Ability to identify gaps/risks, collaborate to find solutions, and work transparently with leadership to implement changes and improve participant safeguarding.Knowledge and understanding of incident management, reportable incidents, restrictive practices, and safeguarding participants.Open to feedback and can then convert that feedback into identifiable changes and growth.Attention to detail, reliability, and drive, with an awareness of how individuals impact others in their teams and vice versa.Open to new ways of doing what we have always done.Employment Requirements:Current Full South Australian Driver's Licence (essential)Certificate 4 Disability Support (Preferred) or a minimum Certificate III in Individual SupportRelevant NDIS / DHS checks and clearances in accordance with the role requirements (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)Current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)Medication Administration Certificate (Face to Face Assessment based)Current Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)Current Through Their Eyes Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
