Duties include:Maintenance of engineering systems, plant, equipment and depot facilitiesRoutine inspections, maintenance and repair activities on signalling, electrical and mechanical infrastructureAttending to failures including identifying and reporting on cause of failureResponding to after-hours signalling, electrical and mechanical call outs to system failures and incidents affecting train servicesAssisting with developing improvement maintenance plans, technical instructions, and procedures to improve productivityProviding on-the-job assistance and knowledge to other team membersRequired Skills and ExperienceUnrestricted Electrical Workers licence / Electrical mechanics Licence QLDCurrent CPR LVRCert IV in Railway signallingConstruction white cardRail Safety Worker Category 2Must be able to be on call on alternating weekends.About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
