Job Description The Opportunity We are currently looking for a Signal Technician to join our team based in Northam.
Reporting to the Supervisor Signals, you will carry out the safe, efficient and effective first-line maintenance and service restoration of signalling equipment and systems to a high degree of integrity to ensure rail safety standards are met.
As the Signal Technician you will be part of a team responsible for carrying out scheduled routine maintenance on signalling equipment, actively protected level crossings and associated electrical power and control systems.
You will carry out inspections, investigate incidents and perform testing and monitoring to ensure the integrity and reliability of our signalling equipment.
You will also be required to undertake minor projects and participate in commissioning of new equipment, systems and technology and prepare and complete documentation including maintenance records, logs, field data reports and technical drawing amendments.
The role is based in Northam and we are looking for candidates that live in Northam (or surrounds).
