The responsibility of the Signal Maintenance Technician position is to provide reactive and preventative maintenance of signalling equipment and systems from Winchelsea to Warrnambool.
Key Accountabilities include:Maintain and install signalling and communications equipment.Complete routine maintenance tasks in accordance with the technical maintenance plan (TMP) and servicing schedules.Attend fault rectification tasks and investigate and report on incidents associated with the performance of signalling equipment and systems.Work in conjunction with standardised signalling practices, procedures, and regulations.Enter task completion reports to the maintenance management system.Attend call outs, work away, travel and assist other regions, and overtime on an as-required basis.About you Our ideal candidate for the Signal Maintenance Technician role is a skilled and autonomous professional adept at maintaining and installing signalling equipment, performing routine and reactive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulations.
Flexibility to travel, work different shifts and work overtime as needed is essential.
