About the Team
Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets. The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.
About the Opportunity
Manage the provision of inspection, testing, maintenance and minor renewals activities to ensure the operational availability of the signalling infrastructure and operational safe working systems in compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
What do we want from you?

Rail Signalling experience in either Maintenance, testing and commissioning or project engineering.
Superior knowledge of signalling infrastructure and systems.
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, and or relevant industry experience.
Highly developed problem resolution and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Eligibility for Corporate Membership of the Institute of Engineers or the Institute of Railway Signal Engineers.

Desirable:

Experience in the management of safety.
Demonstrated commercial acumen.
Sound knowledge of standards for signalling infrastructure.
Knowledge of Work, Health and Safety principles and relevant rail safety legislation.
Significant experience in signalling maintenance management.
Experience in the administration and management of maintenance and minor renewals projects.
