Due to current growth opportunities, we are looking for an experienced Siebel Lead Consultant / Senior Developer to join our team.
Essential Job Functions:
Preferred 10+ years IT industry and Siebel experience.
Understanding of Siebel 6 architecture & deployment methodologies is preferable.
Experience throughout the software development life cycle and Siebel Application support.
Develop the solution using Siebel configuration/EAI/EIM/PLSQL, Control M techniques.
Strong collaborative skill to manage Dev and SIT environment.
Experience with supporting large scale Siebel Enterprise installations.
Training and mentoring of new staff members relating to Siebel Application Support.
Programming skills in various languages to develop customized tools to maintain and support the application, VB scripting experience preferable.
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with the client, within DXC, and with the supporting vendors.
Help troubleshoot any integration related issues to developers.
Team management skills, a plus.
Work with the supporting virtual team to drive the outcome.
Support end to end testing.
Migration of Siebel changes from Dev to SIT.
Understand & provide performance tuning solutions for online & batch integrations.
The candidate is required to have excellent Siebel skills plus a good working knowledge of Siebel interfaces and PL/SQL.
Update Technical Design Documents.
Adhere to Release and Change Management Processes.
Help troubleshoot any integration related issues to Support Engineers.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be experienced with Siebel configuration, Assignment Manager, EIM, Workflows, Business Services, eScript.
Integration experience using EAI, VBC, web services, MSMQ.
Strong knowledge of the Siebel Data Model, Databases, MSSQL Server / Oracle is desired.
Must have good knowledge and experience with Siebel Call Centre or any Base application.
Must have experience with at least one of the vertical applications e.g. Banking, finance module.
Integration experience with Siebel Out of the Box adapters, web services, VBC, EBC and JMS queues desired.
Thorough understanding of Siebel Schema and performance tuning.
Good exposure in Siebel Development including Business Modelling, Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Configuration and Integration for Siebel Enterprise.
Complete exposure to each phase of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficient with Siebel Tools and Client in configuration and customization of Siebel Objects at multiple levels like Applets, Business Components, Screens, Views, Tables, Joins, Links, MVGs, Pick Lists, Toggle Applets and Drilldowns.
Good oral and written communications skills in both technical and client facing situations.
Prefer experience of doing developments in Siebel. Excellent knowledge and understanding of requirements gathering and analysis.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with experience interacting with all levels of DXC Management and client executives.
ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
Strong relationship building skills.
Strong analytical / performance interpretation skills.
Strong Microsoft application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
