Creative Director

Shuttlerock is going through a growth phase and has an exciting opportunity for our first Sydney based Creative Director.
This role will provide leadership, creative direction & brand guardianship to our clients in APAC.
You will develop and support the overall creative vision of our clients, guide in-house creative resources, and foster a collaborative environment and creative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop creative ideas and strategy ensuring concepts, visuals and messaging align with client's objectives, have cut through, follow Brand guidelines and meet platform best practices.
Collaborate with and oversee in-house creative output of jobs to ensure Brand consistency, alignment with project briefs, and ensuring client feedback are actioned to the highest of standards.
Foster a culture of creativity, agility and professionalism.
Engage with clients to understand their needs, pitch creative ideas, present work, and stretch & challenge briefs when needed.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies & speed of culture to keep clients' work fresh and relevant.
Attend pre-production meetings, shoots & oversee post production from a creative and craft point of view.
Attend QBRs and have regular check-ins with clients, ensuring we are meeting their creative needs and expectations.
Manage and mentor the in-house Content Creator.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a creative leadership role preferably within an agency or in-house creative team (5+ years).
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects, including branding, advertising, and social/digital content.
Food/Beverage experience highly regarded.
Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite especially After Effects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behaviour.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
Down to earth, collaborative and fun!
Be able to work onsite 2 days a week (flex needed).
